Department is run by experienced obstetricians and gynecologists. Problems related to pregnancy and childbirth, gynecological and problems related to inability to conceive are looked after. This department is backed by excellent infrastructure, state of the art labour room, operation theatres and the team of Pediatricians and neonatologists. well equipped with Cardiotocographic Fetal Monitors, Baby Resuscitation equipments, Portable Ultrasound Machine, and well laid out waiting room. With an experienced team of Gynecologists, well qualified Colposcopist and Hysteroscopist, well trained Endoscopic Surgeon.

The department also offers a Menopause and Well Woman Clinic, High Risk Pregnancy and Infertility Clinic. Epidural Anesthesia for painless labour is available for asking round the clock, under the professional guidance of best team of Anesthesiologists.

We offer regular prenatal courses throughout the year, regarding care during pregnancy, along with exercise classes under well trained professionals. The departmental museum is a store house of information on all aspects of reproductive function from conception to contraception.

It is normal for women to have a small amount of vaginal discharge which will vary both in amount and appearance during different parts of the menstrual cycle. You should only become concerned if thedischarge becomes heavier, changes colour, is itchy or has an unpleasant odour.

This may be associated with infection so make sure you see a qualified Gynecologist. You may need to take antibiotics. This is very important as an untreated infection may damage your tubes which might cause you to have an ectopic pregnancy or even make you infertile in the future.

She is an established gynaecologist who has to her credit 25 years of work experience in different government hospitals and immense experience of dealing with all kinds of gynaecological and obstetrical emergencies. After taking premature retirement she joined Cosmo Hospital in July, 2006. Her focus in obstetrics is on high risk pregnancies. She is performing all kinds of gynaecological surgeries :
